Who We Are
The Afro-Canadian Council for Social Justice (ACCSJ) is a bilingual national non-profit organization
committed to promoting the social, economic, cultural, and civic well-being of Afro-Canadians.
What We Do
Social Justice Advocacy, Community Development, Youth Leadership, Education and Awareness,
Research and Policy Development, and Settlement & Integration Support.
Our Purpose
Dedicatedย to promoting social justice, equality, and community empowerment for individuals of African descent throughout Canada โ guided by the motto:ย Educate ยท Advocate ยท Empower.
Our Mission
The Afro-Canadian Council for Social Justice exists to advance equity, human rights, and social justice for Afro-Canadian communities and other marginalized groups. We work to address systemic barriers through advocacy, education, community engagement, and collaboration โ empowering individuals and communities to achieve meaningful and lasting change.
Our Vision
We envision a just and inclusive Canada where Afro-Canadian communities and all marginalized peoples live with dignity, equal opportunity, and full participation in society. Our vision is a society free from racism, discrimination, and systemic inequality โ where every voice is valued and every community thrives.
